Learning of a child starts even within the mother’s womb and after the child is born, each day presents a new learning environment to the child’s world. The learning curve is so rapid during the first two years that it becomes important for us, as parents to provide an enriching and visually stimulating environment to the child which is very important for nurturing and developing child’s true potential.
The overarching goal of the Mother-Toddler Program is to support the growth of each child and parent through the developmental tasks of the toddler phase. Our Mother’s Day Out curriculum is designed to develop and reinforce each toddler’s individual needs. Children participate in sensory-based learning experiences, while receiving positive, nurturing guidance from our qualified teachers.
This program attempts to present an opportunity to mothers with young children to get involved with their child in a stimulating environment and to get engaged in varied kinds of activities together which focus on developing numerous skills and milestones specific to child’s age group. Mother’s Day Out offers mothers a platform for building network with other mothers and share concerns and ideas related to parenting. Toddlers also get an environment to play and interact with same age-group children. Mother’s Day Out will help children in building social skills from a very early age and equips and prepares them for pre-school and later life. An overview and description of the program follows:

Areas of Development:
The curriculum focuses on your toddler’s primary areas of development.
Fine Motor Skills:
Toddlers’ fine motor skills, which include finger and hand movements, need to be encouraged in many different ways in order for them to progress. Our Mother Toddler Program offers a wide variety of activities for your child to develop his fine motor skills, ranging from finger painting, paper tearing, to using a pincer grasp to pick up finger foods, to making and manipulating clay.
Gross Motor Skills:
Focuses on all gross motor skills, which include batting at objects, kicking, walking, and running.
Emotional Skills:
assists toddlers with exploring all of their emotions, from joy to frustration. Children begin to gain the skills needed, such as patience, cooperation, and sharing to deal with all of their burgeoning emotions in a calm, supportive manner.
Social Skills:
strives to instil pro-social skills, also known as "people skills." We start with the toddlers becoming aware of their classmates and move on to encouraging simple sharing activities. Your child will be encouraged to wave goodbye and take turns stacking blocks. These simple activities are the stepping stones for the later preschool years, when children are developmentally ready to share.
Communication Skills:
Teaching toddlers to put their wants and needs into words. Toddlers are encouraged to sing simple songs, recite nursery rhymes, and expand their vocabularies.
Cognitive Skills:
Cognitive skills include thinking, learning, and the accumulation of knowledge. Program focuses on toddlers’ investigation of their environment. Your toddler will begin to sort toys by shape and colour.
